Obituary

Mary Esther McKeeman, of Owasso, OkIa., passed away on Dec. 21, 2000. Burial was in Claremore on Dec. 28. 2000. There will be a memorial service at a later date.

Mary Esther was born May 5, 1903, in Wichita, Kan. She was the youngest child of Charles P. Mueller and Esther Elizabeth (Summey) Mueller. She lived most of her young life in Wichita, Kan. She attended school there, graduating from Fairmont College in 1925. As an adult she lived in Wichita, Kan, Williamsville, New York, Florida, Arkansas, and finally moved to Oklahoma to be near her children.

Mary Esther was a member of the Methodist church wherever she lived. A very giving and loving person, she will be missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters, her husband Curtis McKeeman and son-in-law, George Goetzinger.

Mary Esther is survived by her children, Marilyn Leisure and her husband Jack, Bartlesville, OkIa.; JoEtta Goetzinger, Woodward, OkIa.; Diana Hy and her husband Rudy, Arlington, Texas; and Genevieve Doud and her husband Niles, Portland, Oregon. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
