William McKinley Mix

William McKinley Mix, son of Mrs. and Mrs. T.R. Mix, was born at Topeka, Kansas, Oct. 10, 1900, passed away Feb. 10, 1935, at the age of 34 years and 4 months, at the home of his sister Mrs. C.G. Sample of Freedom, Okla. His parents moved to Woodward county in 1899 as pioneers. In 1910 they moved back to Topeka, Kansas, later moving to Missouri and then to Colorado, where his father and one sister still live.

He was united in marriage to Miss Greta Gregory in 1925. His wife preceded him in death in 1930. Also preceded by his mother in 1930; two brothers, Joel in 1915, Elmer in 1927; two sisters, Nellie in 1887, Doris in 1897. He leaves to mourn his loss, his aged father, Mr. T.R. Mix, of Denver, Colo, one brother, C.A. Mix, of Lamar, Mo., two sisters, Mabel Sample, of Freedom, Okla., Marie Williams, of Denver, Colo., one uncle, C.S. Palmer, of Topeka, Kans. Also a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at West Union school house, Feb. 14, 1935, by Rev. Beene, who was pastor at that place.
