Earl Mooney

Funeral services for Earl Mooney, 80 year old resident of2490 Main St., Woodward, were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of the Stecher Mortuary. The Rev. Ed Dowdy, pastor of the Crown Heights Baptist Church officiated and burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.

Joseph Earl Mooney was born at Stroud, Oklahoma on December 5, 1900 and died in the Woodward Memorial Hospital Monday evening following a weeks illness. In 1901 he moved to Western Oklahoma and lived in the Fern Community. In 1926 he was married to Amy Estle and she preceded him in death on October 9, 1961. On may 27, 1981 he was married to Mrs. Iva Hefley at Buffalo and she survives. He was a real estate broker and a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He is survived by his wife and two sons, Earl Mooney Jr., Tulsa and Estle Mooney, Ketchum, Oklahoma. he is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
