Funeral is Today For Lena Katherine Mooney
Funeral services for Lena Katherine Mooney are being held today in the chapel of Stecher Mortuary with Melvin Rittenhouse of the Latter Day Saints church officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She died Monday night.
She was born Sept. 5, 1903, in the Fern community of Harper county and lived in Woodward all of her life.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Emma Mooney, and a brother Earl Mooney, both of Woodward.
Mooney Rites Set Thursday
Funeral services for Catherine Mooney, 56, daughter of Mrs. Emma Mooney, 805 Fifth Street, Woodward, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel of the Stecher Mortuary.
Melvin Rittenhouse, pastor of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will officiate, and burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.
Catherine Mooney was born in the Fern community of Harper county on Sept. 5, 1903. She attended Woodward schools and has lived all of her life in Woodward county.
She died Monday night following a lengthy illness.
Besides her mother, Emma Mooney, she is survived by one brother, Earl, also of Woodward.
