Mrs. Leo (Bessie) Myers, 87, mother of Mrs. Joan Reece, Woodward, died Friday morning in Woodward Hospital following a long illness.

Funeral services were held at 10 am.m Monday in Yale First Babtist Church. The Rev. Warren Lomans, pastor, officiated, and burial was in Lawson Cemetery, Yale. Local arrangements wer by Stecher Mortuary.

She was born in Indiana on Oct. 18, 1897. On Aug. 19, 1918 she was married to Leo Andre Myers, and he preceded her in death in 1961. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Dwight Myers, Alex, Okla., two daughters, Mrs. Joan Reece, Woodward, and Mrs. Mildred Hartley, Yale; one sister, Mrs. Delight Godly, Indiana, 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
