HILDA NIEMEIER, 101 year-old-resident of Woodward, died Jan. 17, 2006 at the Woodward Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006 at the Zwanziger Funeral Home Chapel with Gorden Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, under the direction of the Zwanziger Funeral Home.
Hilda Niemeier was born Sept. 24, 1904 at Tangier, Okla., to Gus and Anna (Hasemeier) Niemeier. Hilda attended school at Tangier, Okla. She worked as a butcher at Martinson Meat Market for many years, also for the Niemeier Grocery Store, and also worked at a dry cleaners in Woodward until the mid 70’s as at that time she retired from working.
She is survived by a sister-in-law Ila Niemeier, Pampa, Texas, a host of nieces and nephews, and by a very special nephew Harvey Hilbert and wife Sandra of Borger, Texas.
Hilda was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
