Parsons Rites Set Tuesday

Funeral services for Ed Parsons, 77 year old resident of 1815 18th street and a pioneer rnacher, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of the Stecher Mortuary. The Rev. D. C. Welsh, pastor of the first United Methodist church will officiate and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Paul Edward Parsons was born in Macon county, Mo., on November 22, 1892. In 1902 he moved to Harper county where on October 1, 1915, he married Clara Ellen Owens and she preceded hime in death on July 10, 1929. In 1945 he married Lottie Munson and they moved to Woodward where he has lived since that time. He died early Sunday in Memorial hospital following a few days illness. He was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Lottie Parsons, of the home, one son, Bud Parsons, Juneau, Alaska, and three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Shuyler, Vallejo, Calif.; Mrs. Marilea Fultin, Pendleton, Ore., and Mrs. Ann Marie Dennis, Yakima, Wash.; a brother Kizer Parsons, Grandview, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. Nannie Munson, Alva, and 14 grandchildren and on great grandchild.
