Adria Hope (Cook) Phillips, 28-year-old Woodward resident, died on Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008 in the First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dylanís Educational Fund or the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cancer Research. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Adria Hope (Cook) Phillips was born on June 2, 1979 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Richard Rudd and Billie Jo (Bay) Cook. Adria was reared in Shattuck, attended school in Shattuck, Woodward, Fargo and graduated from Gage High School in 1997. After her graduation she attended High Plains Technology Center and received her LPN Certificate. Adria worked for the Woodward Hospital and the Dialysis Center for a period of time. Adria was blessed with a son, Dylan Corgan on May 31, 2001. When Dylan was 2 Ĺ months old Adria was diagnosed with cancer. She fought a long hard courageous battle. On September 11, 2004 Adria was united in marriage to Martin Shane "Marty" Phillips in Las Vegas, Nevada. They made their home in Woodward and have lived here since that time. Adriaís family was her life especially her son and nieces. She was an avid artist who loved being with her family, eating sushi, going to the movies, or just going out to eat. Adria loved the little things in life and will be missed by all that knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband Marty Phillips of the home; one son Dylan Corgan of the home; her parents, Richard and Billie Cook of Woodward; one sister Amy Tune and husband Allen of Woodward; one brother Kris Cook of Woodward; her grandmother, Beverly Kuhlman and husband Jerry of Shattuck; step-son, Matthew Phillips and Brittany of Woodward; one granddaughter Abigail; four nieces, Alexis, Alyssa, Allie and Olivia; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Travis and Susan Phillips of Woodward; brothers-in-law, Monty Philips, and Travis Phillips; three special aunts and their families, Aunt Kayleen and family; Aunt Dianne and family; and Aunt Colleen and family; numerous cousins, other relatives and many good friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dylanís Educational Fund or the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for cancer research with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
