Russell, 79
Funeral services are pending for Mrs. Alma Belle (Devore) Russell, 79, former Fort Supply and Buffalo resident.
Mrs. Russell died Friday at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Plano, Tex.
Funeral services will be announced by Billings Funeral Home.
Alma Belle Teeters was born July 24, 1905, near Marble Hill, Mo. At the age of 10, she moved with her parents to Ft. Supply. She attended school at Ft. Supply. She was married to James Curtis Devore and they made their home in Ft. Supply. She was an LPN and was the supervisor of the sewing room at Western State Hospital in Ft. Supply. Mr. Devore prededed her in death in 1951. On Sept. 15, 1956, she was married to C. W. Russell in New Mexico, and they made their home in Buffalo. He preceded her in Death in September of 1975. Since 1975, she has resided at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Plano. She was a member of the First Christian Church, and was a memeber of Queen Esther Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, the Rebekah Lodge of Buffalo and the Ladies Auxillary of Patriach Militant of Buffalo.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Therolen Rector, Plano; two step-sons, Wesley Russel of Skellytown, Tex.; John Russel, Sand Springs, Okla.; one step-daughter, Nona Reeves, Ft. Worth, Tex., one sister, Mrs. Harold (ElFreida) Gardner, Woodward, 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
