Mrs. Floyd (Ellen) Stimmel, 57, of Route 1, Mutual, died early Thursday in the Woodward Memorial hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist church. Dr. W. T. Archer, pastor, will officiate and burial, under the direction of the Stecher Mortuary, will be in the Elmwood cemetery.

Ellen Margaret Beauman was born March 17, 1922, in Monroe, Mich. She attended the Waterloo grade shool and graduated from Monroe High School. She attended the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Ill. She entered the U. S. Nae as a WAVE in 1943, attaining the rank of Storekeeper Second Class; served at the Naval Repair Base in Algiers, La., and received her discharce in February of 1946. On August 10, 1946, she was married to Floyd Stimmel in Monroe, Mich. They have made their home southeast of Woodward since that time. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd, of the home; two daughters, Margaret Stimmel and Linda Stimmel, both of the home; four brothers, Richard Beauman, Harold Beauman and Norman Beauman, all of Monroe, Mich., and Warren Beauman, Mt. Clements, Mich.; two sisters, Mary Frances Beauman and Mrs. Russ (Thelma) Adler, both of Monroe, Mich.
