GAYLE RAE STODDARD passed away Feb. 13, 2002. Born March 4, 1939, in Gage, Okla., to Raymond Edward and Florence Josephine (Ward) Stoddard.
Survived by her brother Donald L. Stoddard and wife Shirlee, along with five nieces and nephews, 10 grand nieces and grand nephews. Also survived by her "adopted" family, Tom, Wendy, Jennifer and Eric Hansen of Stillwater, Payne, OKla., and her church family at First United Methodist Church in Duncanville, most especially the Adult Singles Class and United Methodist Women. She was a graduate of Northwestern State University (B.S.) and the University of Southern Mississippi (Mastera).
A cytogenetics technologist, she had retired from Southwestern Medical Center in January 1999. Funeral services are 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002 at First United Methodist Church in Duncanville, Texas, 403 S. Main St. Burial follows Monday at 2 p.m. in Woodward, Woodward, OKla. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Duncanville.
