Tommy Keith Todd, 36-year old former Woodward resident, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, in Pueble, Colo. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Timothy Dorsch officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Tommy Keith Todd was born Oct. 29, 1963, in Watonga, Okla. to Tyler and Johnnie Sue (Long) Todd. He was reared in Woodward and attended Woodward Schools and graduated from Woodward High School in 1981.

After graduation he enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1984. Then he attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva for two years before transferring to Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, where he was a member of the OSU track team. After college he returned to Woodward and worked at Carl's Machine Shop. In the late 1980s Tommy was part owner of KMTY Radio in Woodward. He was married to Angie Stecklein on Dec. 20, 1992. To this union three children were born, Austin, Haley and Andrew. Autsin preceded Tommy in death on Oct. 25, 1994. After Austin's death, Tommy and Angie made several public appearances speaking on the importance of organ donation. Tommy also played in several benefit baseball games. In 1997, the moved to Pueble, Colo., where Tommy worked for Rocky Mountain Steel Mills as a machinist.

Tommy was a member of several civic groups, clubs and organizations and was an active member in all of them.

He is survived by his wife, Angie of the home; two children, Haley and Andrew of the home; his parents, Tyler and Johnnie Sue Todd, Woodward; two brothers, Tyrone and Tracy; one sister, Tremia; one niece, Tristan; one nephew, Sheldon; and several other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dave and Donnie Josephine Long and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Emma Todd.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Todd Children's Fund with the funeral home acting as custodian of the fund.
