Funeral services for Mrs. F. A. (Hazel) Wells, 90 year old pioneer Woodward County resident, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the First United Methodist church. The Rev. Cecil Wells, son of Mrs. Wells, and the Rev. Connell Ghormley, pastor of the church, will officiate and burial, under the direction of the Stecher MOrtuary, will be in Elmwood cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be made to the Children Home of the Methodist Church, and they may be left at the First United Methodist church office.

Hazel Mills, was born in Jewell County, Kan. on January 1, 1890, and died in the Woodward memorial Hospital late Thursday. On December 18, 1906 at Mankato, Kan. she was married to F. A. wells and they moved to a farm west of Woodward where she lived until 1972 when she moved into town. Mrs. Wells and a son, Vernon, and a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Mott, preceded her in death. She was a member of the Methodist church for over 62 years and a charter member of the Happy View Home Demonstration club.

She is survived by a son, Rev. Cecil Wells, Ames, Iowa, and a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Allene) Smith, Woodward, a brother, Dave Mills, Esbon, Kan., 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
