Mrs. H. E. Wells Dies Saturday
Funeral Services Are Slated Tuesday
Mrs. A. E. Wells, Rt 1, died Saturday night in Memorial hospital following a months illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Methodist church. The Rev. George Parkhurst will officiate and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery under direction of Stecher Mortuary.
Pearl Edna Hall was born in Iowa on Sept. 25, 1882. She came to Woodward county in 1902 and on Jan. 11, 1904 was married to A. E. Wells. She was a member of the Pleasant Jewell Home Demonstration club and Methodist church.
Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, the Rev. Clyde Wells, Ansley, Neb., and Harold Wells, Woodward; two daughters, Mrs. Olene Sober, Oklahoma City and Mrs. Juanita Staats, Liberal; one sister, Mrs. Sadie Pflum, Woodward, and 14 grandchildren.
