Beckham County, Oklahoma

Created in 1907 from Roger Mills County. It was named by the Constitutional Convention for the Hon. J. C. W. Beckham of Kentucky, former governor and United States Senator from that state, at the instance of a native of Kentucky who was a deligate at the Constitutional Convention.
