Creek County, Oklahoma

Created in 1907 from Creek lands. Named for the Creek Indian tribe. This tribe divides honors with William H. Murray, president of the Constitutional Convention, in that two counties were named for it. Creek and Muskogee.

Clerk of Courts has marriage records from 1907, divorce, probate, civil court records;
County Clerk has land records from 1907;
District Court in Bristow has marriage and divorce reocrds.
County Court Clerk in Drumright has marriage and divorce records.
