Bronson, Neb. (UP)—Proof that the bloodthirsty bandit—Black Hank—notorious Mexican outlaw once resided in Nebraska, has been found here by a farmer in the form of a rusty old-style pistol.
The farmer made his discovery while poking around the dugout, which the Nebraska Historic al society claims once housed Black Hank and his desperadoes back in 1875 to 1877. Other weapons have also been found in the vicinity.
Black Hank and his frontier gangsters are said to have fled back to Old Mexico when a Federal dragnet was thrown out to trap the Mexican after a bold robbery on a large herd of government mules from Fort Laramie.
