Ben Cravens, the outlaw, who was captured at the time "Skeeter Dick" was killed near Blackwell a year ago has died in the penitentiary at Lansing, Kansas.

He was a bad man and no one will mourn his death save the broken hearted mother who gave him life and nourished him to a period of accountability.
