Billy Barnard, Petty Officer 2-C

Received his basic training in naval aviation at Great Lakes, Ill., was transferred to Norman and later to advanced gunnery school at Purcell.

He is now stationed in the South Pacific. Attended Guthrie schools and was formerly employed at the Dale Moore Battery Station.

He is now 18 years of age and entered the service October 29, 1942.

He is the son of Mrs. Cleta Smith, 223 South Broad.
