Dillard Pope, Y 2-C

Has been stationed in the personnel office at the San Diego Naval Training school, San Diego, Calif., since entering the navy as second class yeoman in February 1942.

He was graduated from Guthrie highschool and attended A. and M. college, Stillwater.

Worked at the J. C. Penney company and was employed by the Guthrie Daily Leader at the time of his induction.

His wife is with him in San Diego and his mother, Mrs. Anna Pope lives at 424 E. Washington Ave.

He is 30 years of age.
