Lt. James E. Smith

An aviation cadet in the RAF, Smith received his wings and commission as lieutenant upon graduation from the British Flying school at Terrell, Tex., October 1, 1943.

He is now stationed as training instructor at Randolph Field, Tex.

The 21-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Smith, Rt. 4, Guthrie, was graduated from Guthrie highschool and entered the service July 1, 1940.

His wife resides at San Antonio, Tex.

He was formerly employed in the Lintz Shoe Department.
