A baker in the U. S. Navy, Hopfer is stationed at the naval base at Norman.

He attended Mulhall schools and A. and M. college, Stillwater before entering the service September 7, 1942.

Was engaged in farming before the war.

He is 25 years of age.

His wife, Mrs. Hopfer lives at Rt. 1 Guthrie and his father Chris Hopfer lives at 618 N. Wentz.
