Pfc. Loran D. Burke

Formerly employed by the Guthrie Register-News, as photographer and sports writer, Burk enlisted in the U. S. Coast guard as photographer's mate second class, on July 29, 1942.

Has received an American theatre campaign ribbon and is now stationed at Miami, Fla.

Was graduated from Guthrie highschool and attended Central State college, Edmond.

His parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Burk live at 202 E. Warner Ave.

He is 22 years of age.
