Cpl. Major W. Whitaker

Has received medals for rifle, pistol and carbine range shooting.

Is with the signal corps of the army air forces and is stationed at Fresno, Calif.

His wife lives at Perkins and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Whitaker reside at Rt. 2, Guthrie.

He is 22 years of age and was engaged in farming before going into the service December 2, 1942.
