Pfc. Virgle Lee Cottman

Was in combat with the first fighting force landed on New Guinea and also participated in the Buna campaign. After a few months rest in Australia, he was sent to the southwest Pacific theater.

Was engaged in farming before entering service January 16, 1942.

Attended Guthrie schools and is now 26 years old.

His mother Mrs. Judd Cottman lives at Perkins. He is the brother of Mrs. Virgil Gambill, 1923 W. Noble Ave.
