LA GRANDE - The Mitre's Touch Gallery is pleased to announce the release of the Index to An Illustrated History of Union and Wallowa Counties, 1902 edition. Gallery owners, Dave and Trish Yerges, compiled the 123 page index over the past six months. "It's been 99 years since the publication of An Illustrated History of Union and Wallowa Counties, so the index is a greatly anticipated companion to the history book and a useful research tool for genealogists and history buffs," said Dave Yerges.

The index comes with a laminated cover which Yerges reproduced to match the Illustrated History book's original cover. It indexes the entire text of the Illustrated History book and holds over 9,000 entries of surnames. Both the Index and a reprint of the 1902 Illustrated History of Union and Wallowa Counties book are available for sale at The Mitre's Touch Gallery, 1414 Adams Ave, (Pat's Alley), La Grande.
