A little 23 months' old child of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Beard, who live in Elgin, ate a lot of jimpson weed seed Monday, says last week's Recorder, and as a the fact was not known for some time the poison became so scattered through the system that the efforts of the doctors proved unavailing and death relieved the little sufferer Tuesday morning.
