These are obituaries that I and many others have donated. Mine were transcribed from old newspapers. I got the microfilms through interlibrary loan from the University of Oregon. There are also many others who have donated. If there is no contributor on it, it is something I have transcribed. If there is no link on the contributor's name, they have no further information about that person. It is someone extra on a copy of their families information.

Eva May BAKER, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George BAKER, was born at Cove, Ore. June 5, 1905. She was united in marriage to Ray HARTLEY on Sept. 2, 1923. To this union were born two sons, Alfred George, aged 7 and Russel Clark, aged 5. Mrs. HARTLEY contracted pneumonia and was taken to Hot Lake where she passed away, March 22, 1932. She was a member of the Methodist church of Cove, also a teacher in the Sunday school. She was always a devoted wife and mother.
Funeral services were held in the Methodist church Thursday afternoon with the Rev. C. E. Calame officiating. The many beautiful floral offerings showed how the Cove people loved her. Burial took place in the Cove cemetery.
Besides her husband and sons, she leaves her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. George BAKER, three brothers, Roy J. and Earl of Cove, and Ray O. of Pendleton, also a half-brother, Dr. C. E. SAUNDERS of San Jose, Cal. besides other relatives and a host of friends who mourn her passing and extend heartfelt sympathy to her family.
The La Grande Observer, March 28, 1932:
Mrs. Jane R. Hartley died at her home in Gresham on Monday morning at 4 o'clock, after an illness lasting several months. Her age was 74 years, 3 months and 27 days.
Mrs. Hartley was born in Yorkville, Illinois, September 20, 1841. Her maiden name was Jane R. Alford. She married to W. T. Hartley 56 years ago in Morris, Illinois, from where they went to Kansas, later coming to Oregon, settling in this state in 1880. They have been residents of Gresham for several years, having come here from eastern Oregon.
Besides her husband she left eight living children, as follows: Mrs. S. S. Thompson, Gresham; Mrs. R. A. Stockdale and Mrs. Ben Pilcher, Walla Walla; Grace Wilson, Dayton, Washington; Nettie Mattison, Shabona, Illinois; Alfred and Roy Hartley, Wallowa, Oregon; C. B. Hartley, Elgin Oregon. One, Cora, died in infancy.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 11 o'clock from the Gresham M. E. church, Dr. Alfred Thompson officiating. Burial will be made in Mt. Scott cemetery.

LAST EARTHLY RITES FOR MRS. HARTLEY
The funeral of Mrs. Jane R. Hartley, whose death was announced on Tuesday in the Outlook, took place on Wednesday from the Gresham, M. E. church. Dr. Alfred Thompson officiated. The pall bearers were George Sleret, Peter Michel, Ezra Thomas, E. Schwedler, Audley Davis and D. M. Roberts.
Appropriate hyms were sung by a selected choir consisting of Mrs. A. C. Brackenbury, Mrs. Myrtle Myers, Dr. J. N. Clanahan and Jackson Jones. Mrs. Fred Fieldhouse presided at the organ. Interment was made in Mount Scott Park cemetery, the funeral cortege be taken there by special car over the O. W. P.
