Sending her two children to a movie and telephoning her husband to come home before it was too late. Mrs. Lucille Carter Hendrickson, Oregon Poetess, shot herself through the heart at her home in La Grande, Sunday afternoon. She was dead when her husband reached the house. A letter asking him to educate their boy and girl, 13 and 14 years of age, ended with the words, "I feel my life has been a failure."
