Cove, Ore., Dec. 27. - Mrs. Houx, an aged resident of Cove, died at her home at midnight last night. The deceased was over 70 years of age and leaves a large family of relatives.

William Ernest Houx, who has been ill since last fall, passed away about 8 o'clock last night at Hot Lake.

Mr. Houx came here from California about a month ago and went to Hot Lake on Tuesday. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Florence Houx, and their five children, and a sister from California, who was here at the time of his death.
