Susan Lindstedt

The first published collection in a series of Susan Lindstedt's greeting cards and prints have been printed and released by the Mitre's Touch Gallery.  The collection includes 13 of Lindstedt's popular botanical and wildlife illustrations, originally created in colored pencil, ink and water colors.   Among them are familiar Lindstedt subjects: sturgeons, invertebrates, cranes, eagles, hawks, flamingos and elk.

Susan credits her mother for her education in art, having been raised with a drawing pencil in her hand as early as she can remember.   Later, Susan earned her 1981 Bachelors of Science in biology from Oregon State University.  Uniting the two interests, Susan creates some of the most life-like botanical and wildlife art in Oregon.  It is desired by many for its vivid realism and fine detailing.  Previously sold only as originals at show galleries, Susan's art is now on the shelves at The Mitre's Touch Gallery.    Cards $2.00 each; prints vary.

Lindstedt images below depict "Elks" and "Trogon", two among the 13 illustrations in the release of her first series of greeting cards published by The Mitre's Touch Gallery.
