Observations and Opinions by Jesse L. Hindman ----------------------------------------------$35.00 + $5.00 S/H

The "Observations and Opinions" book is a first-time compiled and bound publication and holds verifiable history of Union County settlers beginning with the year 1875.   Dave and Trish Yerges of Summerville, with the cooperation of Mr. Billy Hindman of Elgin, reprinted, indexed and acquired photos for this publication.   After 60 years of laying hidden in the retired pages of the Elgin Recorder, these 43 articles written by pioneer teacher, Jesse L. Hindman, can finally take their rightful place among Union County's history annals.  We are therefore pleased to introduce to Union County readers and researchers, "Observations and Opinions 1939-1941" by Jesse L. Hindman, sold exclusively at The Mitre's Touch Gallery, Pat's Alley, La Grande.  963-3477.
