JAKE SIMONIS WEDS MRS. M.M. BAUER

Jake Simonis, for many years a prominent gardener of the Wolf Creek district, and Mrs. M.M. Bauer, daughter of Jeff Harrison, also of Wolf Creek, were married at the Catholic church in North Powder, Sunday, December 21, Rev. Father Dalton, of Baker, performing the ceremony.

The newly married couple are well known in this community, having resided here for many years. They will maintain their home on Wolf Creek. The best wishes of the community are extended to Mr. and Mrs. Simonis.

Miss Clara L. Tartar and Otis Simonis both of Eagle Valley, were married at the home of the bride's aunt in Baker, last Tuesday. Rev. Waltz performed the ceremony. The couple will reside in Eagle Valley.

MILLER - SIMONIS

Miss May Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F.M. Miller of Telocaset, and Perry Simonis, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Simonis, now residents of Baker, were married at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. Brasel, 2203 North Birth street, in La Grande, Sunday afternoon. Miss Lorena True of Genoa Colorado, and Carl Stoop of La Grande were bridesmaid and best man.

Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served. Those who were present at the ceremony were Mrs. Bertha Simonis, mother of the groom, and Henry Simonis, brother, Roy Redman, Mrs. Redman and Dorothy Redman, Mrs. Eda DeFries, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Buchanan, and son Junior, Mr. and Mrs. Olive McCabe, and daughter Etta Lucinda, Mr. and Mrs. James Kirkland, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Buchanan, Melva Buchanan, Miss Bessie Kirkland, Mr. and Mrs. J.A. McCarthy, O.B. Tuesdale, Amy Miller, Mrs. John Rode, Phillip McCabe and Mr. and Mrs. E. Brasel.

The young couple will make their home in Telocaset.
