Creighton B. Jones
Creighton B. Jones died "Sunday" in a Prineville, OR, hospital of gunshot injuries incurred on a hunting trip 70 miles SE of Prineville. He was born in Joseph, OR; spent most of his life on the Gervais, OR, ranch where his father T. B. Jones originally settled.
Member of Salem Elks Lodge, and 32nd degree Mason; in 1966 appointed to the Orchardgrass Seed Producers Commission by Governor Hatfield.
Survivors: widow Lenora Jones (Gervais); daus. Mrs. Lucinda White (Salem),Mrs. Mary Louise Walker (Salem), and Mrs. Beverly Jean Billings (Maple Valley, WA); son John Steven Crane (Seattle, WA); sister Mrs. Cecil Rhoades (Salem); and 11 grandchildren.

The Death WM. A. Jones
The death of William A. Jones occurred Thursday morning, October 21st at nine a.m. following an illness of only a week's duration while probably the ailment had been gradually working in his system for years, acute symptoms developed for the first time Wednesday, October 13th. During this time he was cared for at the R. F. Stubblefield home where he died. He had made his home with them for over thirty years.
He was born in Virginia about sixty-five years ago. His parents died when he was small.
The funeral was held at the Baptist church, Sunday at 2:30 p.m. under the auspices of the I.O.O.F. Rev. H. E. Cullison delivered the address. Interment in the Enterprise cemetery.
