CHALFANT CEMETERY--------------------JEFFERSON TWP

Take Route 40 from Uniontown to Brownsville. Just before the high level bridge, turn right at the yellow brick Greek Orthodox church, then left and around and under the high bridge. About 100 yards past the bridge, turn right at the first street. It angles sharply back and is the Brownsville Road that follows the river to Albany Hill. Cross Redstone Creek and then thru the short tunnel and up the hill to the last red brick house on the right, 863 Brownsville Road. You can pull up into their driveway and park there. Get permission to go to cemetery Start from the house, face up hill, and cross the field to the woods. Turn right at the woods and walk along them until you see a path that goes up over the hill. That is where the cemetery is located.
