JENNINGS BROWNFIELD CEMETERY - - - GEORGES TOWNSHIP
RT 857 South out of Fairchance to Mud Pike Road, turn left. Continue
about 1 and 1/2 miles to field on right. Park vehicle, walk to upper right
corner of field to old road going through woods. Follow road to a stone
springhouse on right, turn right on older trail. Follow to intersection
with right angle trail. Turn right; cemetery is about 150 yards in small
clearing.
According to man who told me about this cemetery, several headstones have
been removed since he was there last. Also several years ago at least 5
graves were dug up, presumably for what was in the coffins.
