This picture of the Newberry Methodist Church women's Sunday school class was sent by Jim Bubb for use by the  Lycoming Genealogy Project.


This  is a late 1800's photo of the Newberry Methodist Church womens Sunday school class.

Front Row: Elizabeth Packer, Margaret Newcomer, Mrs Annie Hughes (teacher), Mae Simcox, Mary Burkhart

Back Row: Hanna Packer, Alice Hopfer, Ruth Champion, Beckie Champion, Katie Kizer, Ida Engelman.

 

Alice Hopfer is Jim Bubb great-grandmother, and the Champion twins are his  great-great aunts.    All three of them were born in 1870, so he'd put the date of the picture to be mid to late 1880's.
