About This Network
The American Local History Network is a non-profit, unincorporated association of historical and genealogical researchers. The purpose of this network is to link together various local history web sites that would like to participate. There are few rules, and most are flexible.
The Pennsylvania American Local History Network website was created to help researchers gain access to historical and genealogical websites, governmental, and other topical interest sites.
If you would like to create a Pennsylvania ALHN website (for a county or a topic), please read the following information first, About The American Local History Network, and How To Create A PA ALHN Website, then contact one of the PA ALHN coordinators or use our online form.
All websites will be reviewed for content before being indexed in our network. We reserve the right to refuse any site from participating if it violates any of the ALHN rules of conduct or if it contains objectionable language or adult content.
All PA ALHN sites should be historical in nature.

If you would like more information on this project, how to adopt an available county or special interest website, please read About The American Local History Network Project first, then contact the state coordinators for any additional requirements or information.
Thank you for stopping by -- you have been our [5011th] visitor since this site was created in 1998.
