"This Indenture made this twenty seventh day of August one thousand eight hundred & thirteen between Elathan D. Walker of the County of Jasper & state of Georgia of the one part & Tapley Virgil Alfred & Samuel Stuart Orphans of Samuel Stuart decd of the other part all of the County of Jackson & State aforesaid Witnesseth that the said Elathan D. Walker for & in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Tapley Virgil Alfred & Samuel Stuart Orphans of said Stuart decd the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained & Sold unto Tapley Virgil Alfred & Samuel Stuart Orphans of said Stuart their heirs & assigns a certain tract of land containing one hundred & fifty acres be the same more or less situated lying & being in the County of Jackson on the middle fork of the Oconee River & bounded as follows, Viz. beginning at a hickory on the river thence with Kings land North thirty East to a stake on the road that leads from Cl!
arksborough to Nathan Camps thence up said road to a stake thence South thirty West to a pine on the river thence down the said River to the beginning  Together with all & singular the rights members & appurtenances to the said tract of land belonging or in any wise appurtaining & also all the estate, right, title, interest, claim & demand of him the said Elathan D. Walker of into or out of the same to have & to hold the said tract or parcel of land with all & singular the premises aforesaid with each & every of their rights members & appurtenances unto the said Tapley Virgil Alfred & Samuel Stuart Orphans of said Stuart decd to their heirs or assigns or their own proper use & behoof for ever & the said Elathan D. "To All Whom this presents shall come, I Proser Horton do send Greeting  Know ye, that I proser Horton of the County of Jackson & state of Georgia for & in consideration of the love & good will & affection which I have ? bear towards my loving daughter Permela Carr of the County & state aforesaid have given & granted by these presents do fully give & grant unto the said Permela Carr her heirs, executors Admrs. & assigns one tract of land lying & being in Jackson County & on the Walnut fork of the Oconee containing one hundred & thirty two acres more or less it being part of a tract of land granted unto Samuel Patton the 8th of October 1808 lying & being as aforesaid beginning on a Lynn on the walnut fork thence S 66 W 45 Chs to a pine & thence N 47 W 17 Chs 50 links to a pine X thence runing & bounding S.E. on Seabourn Maddox land to a Hickory on the river, thence down the meanders of the river to the beginning hickory corner  Together with all & singular the rights members,!

"This Indenture made this sixteenth day of August in the year eighteen hundred & thirteen between John Glasson of the one part & George Headen of the other part both of the County of Jackson & State of Georgia Witnesseth that the said John Glasson for & in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to him in hand paid before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained Sold & coveyed to the said George Headen all that tract or parcel of land lying & being in the said County of Jackson on the waters of the Middle Oconee river & containing seventy five Acres be the same more or less it being the land included & de?? two deeds, one from William Sikes to John Glasson for fifty Acres bearing date the 22nd day of October 1806,  The other from James Tait to the said John Glasson for twenty five Acres bearing date the 5th day of August 1812  Reference being had to said Deeds will more fully appear.  Together with al!

"State of Georgia  This Indenture made this thirteenth day of April in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred & nine between William Stark of the County of Columbia & State aforesaid on the one part & John Gibson of the County of Jackson of the other part Witnesseth that the said William Stark for & in consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars in hand well & truly paid by the said John Gibson at or before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold released & confirmed & by these presents do grant, bargain release & confirm unto the said John Gibson his heirs or assigns all that tract or parcel of land containing eight hundred Acres lying & being in the county of Jackson on the waters of the Walnut & Mulberry forks of the Oconee River being part of a survey of land granted to said Stark on the 22nd July 1798 (Viz) Beginning at a pine corner on the boundary line runing South 45 East 77 Chains to a post !
