There are two pages to this schedule. Both pages are short pages, meaning that the enumerator used only part of each page. This schedule is presented here in its entirety, and is as close as possible to the original.
This schedule was enumerated by H. T. Moseley. At the top of each page, it reads:
Schedule 2. Slave Inhabitants in the 71 Division in the County of Rabun, State of
Georgia, enumerated by me, on the 20th day of Decr., 1850. H. T. Moseley, Asst. Marshal.
Each column is numbered, except the far left column, which is used to show the line number. The remaining columns from left to right are:
Unfortunately, the names of the individual slaves were not given. Additionally, under "color" can be found two letters: "b", for black, and "m", for mulatto.
This census was transcribed from microfilm copies. Every effort has been made to insure that the transcription reflects a true and accurate copy of the original. Questions and comments may be directed to D&C Research Group.
