- Rabun County Georgia and Its People Vol. 1 published by the Rabun County Historical Society, 1992. A heritage-type book with articles about area families, churches and events. Also includes a transcription of the 1830 census for the county and many useful maps.
- Chips Off the Same Block by Monteen Keener Watts, 1986. Mrs. Watts picks up where Andrew Jackson Ritchie left off. Many area families, especially those who settled in the north end of the county, are given.
- The Beck Family compiled by Susan Lewis Koyle. Primarily a personal family history, this work also contains detailed research on the Beck family of Rabun County.
