Georgia      } Whereas in obedience to a nerit[?]
Rabun County } of Fieri Facias issued out of the
               Superior Court of the County of
Rabun at the suit of Pleasant Watts vs Samuel
Hopper. William Dillingham Sheriff of said county
of Rabun did lately seize the Lots of land
as the property of the said Samuel Hopper
And the said Lots of land being duly and publickly
advertised according to law were on the first Tuesday
in April in the year Eighteen Hundred and Forty
Three at the Court house in said County of Rabun exposed
to sale at public outcry when. Jasper Hopper being the
highest and best bidder the same was knocked off
to him at the price of Thirty one Dollars
   Now this Indenture made the fourth day of April
in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred and Forty
Three between William Dillingham Sheriff
of said County of Rabun of the one part and
Jasper Hopper of the other part
          Witnesseth that the said William
Dillingham as aforesaid for and in
consideration of the sum of Thirty one Dollars to him in
hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
hath granted bargained and sold and doth by these

grant bargain and sell unto the Said Jasper Hopper
his heirs and assigns so far as the office of
Sheriff authorizes him thereunto Two Lots of land
lying and being in the second District of Rabun
County Numbers not known they being the Land
whereon the said Samuel Hopper now lives with
all and singular the rights members and appur-
=tenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertain=
ing_ To have and to hold the said bargained premises
unto the said Jasper Hopper his heirs and assigns to his
own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee
Simple_ In witness whereof the said
William Dillingham Sheriff as aforesaid hath hereunto
set his hand and affixed his seal the day and
date above written
