Georgia Land Lottery Participants

Following is a list of Revolutionary War Veterans who participated in one of three Georgia Land Lotteries (1820, 1827 or 1832). They either resided in Rabun County and drew land elsewhere in Georgia or vice versa.

The columns from left to right are: grantee, grantee's county of residence, year of the land lottery in which they participated, county where the land was granted, year the land was granted. All counties mentioned are in Georgia. In the final column, those claims marked "rev" reverted back to the state of Georgia. Those soldiers marked "**" were listed in the 1830 Census for Rabun County.
