1810 Census
Haywood Co., NC

This census was enumerated by Thomas D. Love. All page numbers refer to the stamped numbers on the census and not the hand-written numbers. Letters were added to the numbers to distinguish between the different pages. Pages 191 and 192 were used as title pages, and pages 201b through 203 as summary pages. Page 193A was so faded that the first few names could not be read on the copy that I have; those names were not included here. Mr. Love left blank lines between each letter as he alphabetized the census; I have not done that here.

Some sections of this census were, for one reason or another, hard to read or completely illegible. Those sections are marked by ? or *, and/or are enclosed in brackets [ ]. The enumerator occasionally used parentheses ( ). Additionally, if a numerical entry consisted of more than one digit, I enclosed it in parentheses ( ).

This census was transcribed from microfilm copies. Every effort has been made to insure that the transcription reflects a true and accurate copy of the original. Questions and comments may be directed to the transcriber.
