Dills Cemetery (Gneiss)
Macon Co., NC

Surveyed March 13, 2005 by Glenda Dills, Larry Dills, Lea Holland, and Willadean Holland.

Directions: From Hardee's, go about six to six and a half miles to Peek's Creek Rd., on right. Follow Peek's Creek Rd. across river bridge and Peek's Creek Bridge, then turn left. Stay on Peek's Creek until you reach Fish Hawk Rd. on right. Follow Fish Hawk about one and a half miles. Cemetery is at the top.

Notes: There are at least 48 graves in the cemetery, most of which are marked simply by field stones. There are probably more that are not marked. The survey starts with number 1, at the gate, and goes to 48, which is a lone grave marked only by a field stone in the far left corner.
