Dills Family Cemetery
(Jeremiah M. Dills)
Macon Co., NC

Surveyed February 15, 2002

Directions: From the intersection of Hwy. 64 and Hwy. 441 in Franklin, take 64 west toward Murphey. When the four-lane divided highway merges back into a regular two-lane road, take a left onto West Old Murphey Road. Go .4 miles to Cartoogechaye Baptist Church. Take a right onto West Dills Creek Road. Go one mile to 1049, then take a right onto the next drive, which is a narrow dirt and grass road. Go down the hill, cross over a bridge, then go up the hill. Bear right twice. When the road widens into a turn-around, you'll see the road leading to the cemetery on the right. Park your vehicle and walk the rest of the way into the cemetery. If the road is wet, do not try to drive into the cemetery. Park in one of the driveways on West Dills Creek Road (with permission of the owner) and walk in. If you drive more than half a mile, stop. Find a safe place to turn around and go back.
