  FRANKLIN, N. C.


                     THE PHILLIPS CEMETERY

Location:  About 2 mi. S. E. from Franklin on right of highway
           N. C. # 28. On top of hill, cemetery surrounded by
           trees. Just beyond the Thomas turn, and above Nat
           Phillips home.
Condition: Grown over with small trees. Two large oak trees
           standing near.
