Surveyed October 12, 2002 by Maxine Caldwell, Lea Holland and Willadean Holland.
Directions: From Hardee's in Franklin, take 64E. approximately one mile. Exit right onto the 64W bypass. Stay on this road about six or seven miles. Turn right onto Old 64 highway, go past Loafer's Glory gas station, turn left onto Wayah Rd. Follow Wayah Rd. approximately 18 1/2 miles to Nantahala. There will be a gas station (Bateman's) on the left. From Bateman's, take the first road to the left (Junaluska Road). Go about five miles, Little Choga Rd. is on the left. Go about three or four miles, the church and cemetery are on the left.
Notes: this cemetery was established in the mid-1800s. It was relocated to its current site in 1939. The survey starts in the far corner from the church.
