Roper Cemetery
Macon Co., NC

Directions: From the corner of Harrison and W. Main St. in Franklin, go North on Hwy. 28 (Bryson City Rd.) for 2.8 miles. Turn left onto Airport Road. Go about 2.3 miles. Yield to the left onto Olive Hill Road. Go about 3.9 miles. Olive Hill Road becomes Upper Burningtown Road. Go 1 mile more. Turn right onto Roper Homestead Road. Go past the sign "Roper Cemetery", across the bridge, then straight up the hill. The cemetery is about 1/10 mile on the left.

This cemetery given to Oak Dale Church and Community in memory of my
wife Carrie Tallent Roper the one who led me to Christ and the first
one buried in the family plot -- given by Lawrence P. Roper 1969
