State of North Carolina Macon County Know all men By these Presants that I Mark Burrell of the State of Georgia Union County for value Receved of Charles Woodring do Assigne and transfer unto the Said Charles Woodring all my Right title Claim and Interest to a Certain tract of land lying and being in the State and County first above Written in District 6 and No 12 Which land the Said Mark Burrell purchased at the land sail at Franklin the 24th October 1836 Containing fifty five Acres as represented in in [sic] the Certificate obtained from the Comission I do hereby Direct and Request the Secretary of State to Esue a grant to the said Charles Woodring as soon as he may pay unto the Publick treasury of N Carolina Such Sum or Clams of Money as may be Due and Owing for the Same in Witness Whereof I have here unto Set my hand and seal this the first Day of Febuary in the year of our lord one thousand Eight Hundred and thirty Eight Signed Sealed and Delivered in the Presents of
